Digital Media and Website Development Case Studies: Maunakea Observatories & Vibrant Hawaiʻi

As part of a broader communications strategy to update and humanize Maunakea Observatories' brand, Paʻakai rebuilt the MKO website featuring refreshed design, messaging, and imagery from a Paʻakai-managed on-site photo shoot with collaborator Cory Lum.

Paʻakai developed and implemented a social media strategy for Vibrant Hawaiʻi including tactical tests, quarterly analysis, and metrics tracking. After the first quarter of engagement, VH's Instragram account saw the following gains: impressions (+638%), engagements (+117%), followers (+217%).
